You've said that all the files from that site don't work. Are you certain the European one you downloaded was a good file, that didn't work, rather than a corrupted file that didn't work?

A friend has the same player. Is it possible to backup his firmware?

I found all firmwares here:

http://zefie.com/files/PMP/sansa/e200/firmware/

but any firmware I tried until now don't work properly. Every crashes by choosing the usb mode.

Yes, as mentioned on several places.

My friend has the 1.02.15E firmware. but 1.02.15E doesn't work properly! (I'm sure he has absolutely the same, because we buyed it on the same online shop at the same time). Is it possible to reset and format the mp3 player? I think the problem is, that there are still corrupted data (or excexutables) on my player. Could that be?

I tried to install the rockbox dualboot again. I can still come with |<< to the OF in my /system-dir. And its still crashing after "refresh database".

How can I format the whole player without going to MSC mode or without installing a firmware?

I find that highly unlikely. When you put the original mi4 there, it overwrites the previously stored mi4 and the original one is far bigger than the rockbox mi4...

you never told us what "crashing" means here

I thaught I did. -> The display freezes shortly and the player reboots. Ex. when I go to the USB modes and chose one (MSC or MTP) it freezes and reboots.
