Ipod 5.5 scroll wheel issue

With one of the newer patches, my scroll wheel has totally gone to crap.  I can use it on the main menu ok and the database main menu, but searching through artists is impossible.  It moves around and doesnt go the direction I want to.  Is this a known bug? Do others experience it?

My scroll wheel works fine in original apple firmware fyi.

Patches are not supported here. Ask the patch author in the appropriate tracker entry. If the problem also exists with the official build please report back.

Im sorry but now the backlight is constantly turning on and off.  I really love this firmware, and these issues are recent.  Can anyone tell me any solutions or any other occurances of this?  I love it but if I have to switch back to regular I will  >:(

You're giving very little information about the problem, and nobody else is reporting experiencing it. This makes it very hard for anyone to help you.

Information I will need: Bootloader Version, Rockbox version, Exactly what problems you're having, and when they tend to happen (for example, does the scrollwheel just work badly in menus, or does it do strange things while adjusting volume in the wps?), and so forth.
