Lear:
That file has an "ftyp" of "isom", which I haven't seen before. However, changing it to "M4A " (it's at offset 8 in the file) makes it play in Rockbox.

The genre shows up as "Techno" here, but am I correct in guessing that you entered "Rock"? If so, there seem to be an off-by-one bug in Rockbox, as that track shows up as "Rock" in Foobar2000.

Otherwise, to create an M4A-file, using iTunes is easy. Since you have an iPod, you might have iTunes installed...

oldutch:
Lear, thanks for the info about the file and how to make it play.

You're exactly right. I did enter 'Rock' as the genre for the file. Where do I go about reporting this bug?

I actually don't have iTunes installed anymore.... :)

oldutch:
:)
Nevermind, I see that there was a fix put out yesterday at 22:16. Wow, you guys are good!
I'll give it a try.

oldutch:
Works like a charm. I really appreciate all the help!
