How I get a screenshot is basically a cut/paste. I run the UI simulator on Windows, to get the image I hit "alt-Print Screen" which puts a copy of the active window onto the clipboard.

Then I paste the image into whatever software I'm using and save my png file. I use fireworks.

... but you need to use the keypad-0, not the usual keyboard 0.

if you got a iPod you could take a screenshot easiy
system-debug-screendump.
then just connect the ipod to the USB and it should automatically put
a shot in the root of the iPod
then press screendump again to disable it

The system-->debug-->screendump method of taking a screen shot is not limited to iPods.

Sorry for resurrecting a three year old thread.
I can't get the screendump to work on my Cowon D2, I do everything as described, and when i connect the D2 in USB mode to copy the screendump, it's not there.

Hi mp3,

looking at this forum, too?

If I want to get a screenshot I use the simulator as described above and press F5.
Then you'll find in the simdisk folder your screendump as BMP file.
