The thing with the converter is, it splits anything higher then 10 mins, into mini files. Which then plays them on the Sansa. If you were to say have a 30 min clip, it should split it into 3 files. Now, when you get finished with the first one, it will stop for like 3 secs or so, then pick up right where you left off on the next one.

The reason the audio could be lagging behind, is whatever it is encoded with, might not be compaitible with the player.

I know Divx encoded movies play perfectly well. I myself have put two movies on there in that format, and no sound has lagged behind.

Are you talking about the sansa converter or the mpeg codec?
