lenght of recorded files on ipod

my english is not so good... sorry
i found that rockbox is  pretty good solution for audio recording. but...
i record one hour test file in 44/16bit/stereo on ipod 5g, 30gb and make screen capture of this testing.

as you see, duration of recorded file doesnt match to original audio file. after about 40 min i have dropped audio, and recorded file is shorter for about 2 seconds. when i record 4 hrs, results is unusuable for me.
these is good for some short voice recordings, but is bad for using with electronic music. on the first place i like to use this device for recording dj sets.
i have test with ipod nano 1g too. results is similar to ipod 5g
does enyone here to help me with these problems?
