Weird fonts on display! Display -> loose Connection? how to fix?

Hi guys!

I have exactly the same problem as described in this thread:

if i push in the middle of my display all the weird fonts vanish.

unfortunately it is not described how to fix this really in the thread..

this is the current status of my Archos Jukebox Studio 20:

anyone a hint for me how i can fix the weird fonts?
do i need to get the display off the board? if yes, how?
