Gotta say thanks

I just had to give big kudos to the whole RockBox crew. I have had this iPod for a few months, but hated the way iTunes f*%#ed up the files when you load them. Me and my buddies all share all our music, it's our code...one for all and all that. And because of Apple's crap and the fact that ALL of us hate iTunes, it meant I had to keep 2 copies all the time, one for my iPod and one for us to share. You guys solved this, and in such an elegant way. I have had the software on my iPod for , oh , an hour and have already figured out how to do all those things I wanted to on my iPod (make backgrounds and themes, use my music format, use my already created play lists, etc, etc). My iPod is no longer just a big USB drive, it is actually useful and usable in the way I want.

Yes great work. It was great software 8 months ago when I got my H140 and even better now. UI improvements and FLAC seeking are very nice.

yea, i must say thanks too, if it wasnt for rockbox i would have a creative zen right now, Rockbox breathed new life into my h10 ;D

I agree too! Rockbox is awesome and owns the regular apple firmware. I showed all my friends it with the usual response "what the hell did you do to your iPod?", but when they saw iDoom (or whatever Rockbox calls it) they all wanted it too! Rockbox rocks my iPod, hence the name.
