Wps causing jittery playback
« on: March 08, 2007, 04:04:45 AM »
Hello Rockbox community, I'm so glad i made the leap into installing Rockbox on my 5G iPod this week.
Just wanted to mention that i have that cool cassette wps and it seems to be causing so much disk activity that it stops playing, Which is really irritating because I showed all my friends how cool it looked, I don't want to have to tell them i had to get rid of it.
I have no patches or anything just fonts and themes, Just wanted to know if there was actually a way of fixing this problem.

read the FAQ, especially this entry:
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IpodFAQ#Playback_is_glitchy_skips

Why not tell them you found another wps you like even better? Or create one yourself? Should be reason enough ;)

:) Thanks very much, I had looked at the FAQ but obviously not well enough, I think I have the equalizer on so turning that off may help and it was with high bitrate MP3s.
