Theme images not showing up! [Solved]
(1/1)
KWhat:
I seem to have an issue with themes showing up after i install them and select them. It appears to switch to the theme, but then it looks like the font and style are applied but there are no graphics... i just tried to install the zen theme and i get a black background with white text.
Do i have to do something to enable pictures ?
bascule:
You should not have to do anything...
It sounds like you may not have unzipped it properly. What you should have in your wps folder is a specific 'zen' folder containing the images:
/wps
-blah1.wps
-blah2.wps
-zen.wps
-blah3.wps
+/blah1
-img.bmp
-etc.
+/blah2
-img.bmp
-etc.
+/zen
-zen.bmp
-img.bmp
-etc.
KWhat:
Looks like its in the write place.. I realized this morning that its only the menu that doesn't have images applied to it and that the theme's available probably don't take over the menu yet.
Flid:
Most graphical themes should include a "backdrop" which will be shown in the "menu" mode.
Make sure you have a folder called "\.rockbox\backdrops" with .bmp files in it. You should be able to load these directly, if the theme isn't doing it correctly.
