OGG decoding performance on Nano

I recently made a battery life comparison of the four major codecs that you can use. (Well MPC isn't exactly major but it's what I use sooo.)

I'd highly recommend it.

I would argue the 3 percent runtime difference you saw was well within the margin of error, as I routinely get larger variations than that when duplicating tests.
Though I do applaud you, Farpenoodle, for running a matched series of runtime tests. Actual data as compared to the vast majority of the "hey, when I use W, X, and Y, my runtime is Z!" ones on the wiki.
David Marsh:
I've taken the rash decision to re-rip all my CDs to ogg format because the quality is great and the files are smaller, meaning more tracks :) I'm using an iPod Video though, so I'm not sure if it has a fast CPU or anything, but it sounds just fine when I play.
