Re: How to hide folders

That would be fine but I don't really want to use windows as this would be a pain if everytime I loaded to OF I had to boot windows to unhide the folder. Seems easier to just do it with linux but I just don't know how!

Is that really correct? I understood (but am totally willing to be proved wrong) that the File View settings were specific to rockbox (based on the file name and/or extension) and did not take into account the FAT32 status flag(s).

Rockbox will not show files marked as 'hidden' unless it's in the All Files file view mode. Supported or any of the others will leave 'hidden' files/folders invisible to the user in the filetree.

Or at least it should. If it doesn't, that's the sort of thing that would make a good entry in the bug tracker, because I'm pretty sure it used to. ;)
