How to unhide folders

(1/2) > >>

007quick:
I hope this is the right spot but how does one unhide a folder using linux! I relise that the standrard method is the .folder but my dual boot iriver H10 hides the music folder when I boot into the original firmware. Windows just had an option to unhide but I haven't found the same in linux! any help?

GodEater:
When you say "in linux" what precisely do you mean?

Are you running "ls" from the command prompt, or are you using some GUI file browser like Konqueror, Nautilus, Thunar or something ?

007quick:
I am using mandrake linux 2007 KDE with konquer!

Eric Draven:
I'm an IBM AIX sys ad so I'm not sure if it'll work with Madrake, but ls -al will show you the hidden folders.  You can do whatever you want with them from there.
