How to get correct info?

I'm new to rockbox and am having trouble even just getting around on it and finding my music. When I do find my music and play it, the information is incorrect and tagged with numbers and such. Just wondering if there's any methods on dividing everything up into seperate artists with correct song info just like the Apple Firmware. Any help is greatly appreciated since I'm a

1.  Please read the Rockbox Manual, particularly the Database section in Chapter 4.

2.  Our forum guidelines require the use of proper English.   Please do not use garbage like "|\| () () |3."
