Possible to change default settings when building?

If I understand you correctly, you get a freezing when you disconnect from USB?
If you are not running a recent svn build, then it is possible that you get a bug that was fixed recently. If you first leave the WPS (stop audio) before you connect to the PC, then it shouldn't happen. If it does, then this is a different error.

The error showed up on two builds both source + albumart patch. February 22nd and March 3rd. I got no build errors, just some fuzz (which I understand to be lines found though not at the expected place?). When I substituted the custom build for a daily build (March 3rd) it went away. Checking just now I see that the patch has been upgraded though I don't know if it's in any way related.

I believe it turned up regardless of whether the player was turned off or on  so I'm not sure if it's what you refer to. I'll keep it in mind though if/when I do another build. Thanks, Rincewind.
