Hi!

Apologies for asking what I'm going to ask, but I've looked everywhere - nothing seems to ask my questions, either that or I've looked past it.

Anyway, what exactly is Rockbox? What does it do, what are the benefits of having it etc.

iPodLinux did nothing for me, didn't really appeal to me - Rockbox sounds appealing though, even if I don't know what it is! ;D

I have an iPod 5.5G 30GB with 1.2.1 firmware; if that helps.
