Considering Rockbox, but first some questions
« on: March 03, 2007, 01:07:11 PM »
Maybe these questions have been answered a thousand times but i searched a little and didn't find any answers. so:

1. Does anything happen to my stuff when i install Rockbox? (pics, movies, music etc.)

2. Is it possible to use iTunes even if you have Rockbox? does it remove any functions in iTunes?

3. If i want to remove Rockbox, does that harm my stuff?

4. Is it safe to install Rockbox on my iPod Video 30gb?

5. i don't get it, is there a Realease for Video 30gb, or just a current build?

i'd be glad if anyone could answer a few of my questions as soon as possible. tyvm

1.  No
2.  No
3.  No
4.  Yes
5.  No release, yes there is only a current build.

The manual and the wiki are excellent collections of all this information and more.  I know you may be jaded by other open source projects, but Rockbox has an excellent collection of documentation.
