I'm pretty sure that's fade on stop.  I know I have fade on stop set to "off" and didn't see it in the config :)

I personally have never, ever turned off repeat.

Only time I ever turn off repeat is if I want to play an Audiobook or Podcast of some sort.

I'm a Doubting Thomas.  I gotta believe they looked at the wrong .cfg file.

Same here!

anyway, I'm a bit disapointed that 260 views and only 30 ppl actually voted. :(
I have viewed this thread about10 times (and voted only once, of course).
And you have to take in account that not everybody viewing this thread is a registered forum user.

Are we including the lines regarding chosen lang, wps, fonts etc?

Not that it would materially affect my vote... ;)

Anyone else think "Fade on stop/pause" should be disabled by default?

I would love to see it off by default as well.

126 lines in config.cfg or configxx.cfg?
If the former, dang that's many.

I haven't changed a whole lot:

Code: [Select]
volume: -20
repeat: off
backlight timeout: 3
volume display: numeric
battery display: numeric
backlight fade in: off
backlight fade out: off
foreground color: FFFFFF
background color: 9B0000
volume fade: off
recursive directory insert: on
talk menu: off
replaygain: on
replaygain noclip: on
dircache: on
warn when erasing dynamic playlist: on
Last.fm Logging: on
font: /.rockbox/fonts/nimbus-14.fnt
wps: /.rockbox/wps/hair_girl.wps
backdrop: /.rockbox/backdrops/hair_girl.bmp

I haven't changed those settings for a long time though, they seem to work well enough for my taste.

If I had time, I would look at creating a simple page to upload .cfg files. Although, I could see problems with loading invalid files and knowing which settings were valid to be included in a .cfg file that would be uploaded. Is there an easy way to find out all the valid settings?
