Can't return to original Firmware on h10

<< < (4/4)

007quick:
Are you trying to get dual boot to work? You are not very clear!
If you are trying to dual boot:
1) download a build
2) download a bootloader
3) rename your original .mi4 file to OF.mi4
4) place the downloaded bootloader in the system folder
5) extract the build to the root of the hard drive.

6) on a side note. If you download a new build it should have the rockbox.h10 file inside the .rockbox folder. If this is the case, DELETE the rockbox.h10 file from the root!

bahus:
Believe me, I can use the manual. If you look at the listing of the loading which I sent you in the пост before previous, you'll see that System/OF.h10 was found.Original firmware doesn't load at all. Neither on it's own nor in case of the dual booting. I assure you, I have installed all correctly. Please, don't give me extractions from the manual.

007quick:
Dude, that was straight from my head! So you are saying that when you revert back to the original firmware and take rockbox off it still gets stuck?
If that is the case.
1) back up all your music, etc, onto your local hard drive
2) go to www.iriver.com
3) look for a firmware up grader, it is there (trust me)
4) do a complete format and reinstall
5) do the rockbox install instructions again if you want rockbox
