MikrySoft:
Can anyone explain me how data is transferred between remote and h10?
i know from debug screens that there is some kind of variable for remote, but is there any posibility to send data to remote -> is remote port bidirectional? If yes i could start thinking about external USB host controlled by this port (now only copying between two other devices, copying to/from rockbox could be done if rockbox can work with usb connection - play music and synchronize files with computer at the same time etc.). More info: http://www.vinculum.com/
Remote port could be also used for connecting other peripherals or for multiplayer games.
Anyone can help?

The remote buttons are read through the ADC (analog-to-digital convertor). When a button is pressed, it changes the value read by the ADC. As far as I know, it only works in one direction, but even if it wasn't, I think it would be near impossible to get an external usb host controller working. Besides, there is already a host controller built into the PP5020 chip inside so it would be much easier to make use of that.
