Button assignments
« on: February 26, 2007, 09:01:17 PM »
For the iPod can someone please tell me what buttons do what in the WPS.  Specifically for the Database files.  I would like to know how to get to the orginal menu as if I just turned it on with the selection of track, artist et cetra.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

I may as well post this here, rather than create another thread, since it's related:

I've only just noticed that in recent builds, you can use either play or select to boot to RB firmware. Why use both, rather than use one of them to trigger the original Apple firmware. The only thing I can think of logically, is that you guys think it would be too easy to press the wrong one by mistake. Is this a correct assumption ? I personally think people could handle it  ;)

That question doesn't really make sense unless you're referring to the fact that both Play and Select can 'turn on' the iPod as it were. If that's the case, that's too early for us to detect what button has been pressed (still in Apple Flash Loader territory).
