So, you skipped the step that says to Extract that zip...

something went wrong again, im not sure if i set up my itunes right, but i backed it up on a disk...... and is extract all how u unzip a file?

I don't understand what you're asking. Saying "Something went wrong" doesn't tell me anything other than that it's not working how you expect it to work. What is it doing?

what do i do when i go to download the build? do i jus click the picture of my ipod towards the bottom of the page and download it? because that is what i did,
other than that, i did everything else i was supposed to in the installation

If you follow the instructions exactly, it will work. I cannot help you if you refuse to actually tell me what problem you're having, and ignore my questions.

its doing the exact same thing as before...it says that it cannot find the file rockbox.ipod

Then you did not unzip rockbox.zip into the root of your iPod.

Where is the Rockbox.ipod file?

Is there some reason you refuse to answer the questions I ask?

I don't know, because I don't know if you have an extraction tool that the "Extract All" is using, or if it's using the windows extraction function, or what. Being able to properly extract a zip file is usually considered common computer knowledge.

If it's creating a "Rockbox" folder, with Rockbox.ipod in it, you're doing it wrong.
