JBM will not fully charge

I have a JukeBox Multimedia (upgraded with a 60gb Toshiba HD) that never seems to show more than 50% capacity on the display even after a long charging period.  I have measured the batteries and both show 4.2v.  I swapped batteries with my JBR20 V2 and the same thing happens.  If I put a fully charged battery pack from my JBR into my JBM, it gets as high as about 75% and then drops to 50% very quickly.  Anyone have any ideas?
