Help! Music Names

I'm new to Rockbox, downloaded yesterday and yes, I love it.  On my 5g iPod, although I don't think that matters, I go to look at track names and the first 10 songs are named correctly, then, for about 150 songs, all the songs are named "".  After that all my songs are named correctly.  When I go to a song, it plays but it is completely incomprehensible(sp?).  Any ideas\suggestions of how to rename the song or get the title back would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Are you using the Database or the File Browser?  If you are using the Database, have you followed the directions in the Rockbox Manual for initializing it?  What do you mean by, "it plays, but is completely incomprehensible"?

I'm using database and have initialized it.  I mean incomprehensible by when the song is played for album, title, artist is just numbers and letters

It sounds like most of your files are not tagged and the WPS that you are using is defaulting to the itunes-obfuscated folder/file names.

Remember iTunes itself may appear correct, but the tags it is using may be being stored in it's own local (i.e., on the PC) database and not in the files themselves.

You need to re-tag properly...
