Ogg Vorbis files sound like a radio station going out of range.
« on: February 25, 2007, 03:44:46 AM »
I have now tested release r12402-070219 and r12477-70224. Both give the same symptoms when
playing ogg vorbis files on an iAudio X5 platform.  The clip plays normal to start with, but about after 30 seconds, it sounds like a signal that is being lost on a radio station.

I have a attached a 25 second 32kbps mono sample clip so that you can hear what it sounds like. Rename to .bin file to a .ogg file to hear it.

Under the original Cowon firmware - ogg files play perfectly.
I have also tried maxwen0's build r12132M-070129, the result was an ogg file that skipped a lot when playing.

Anybody else had these problems?

P.S.: Apologies if this post was posted twice.

There is a reason certain filetypes aren't attachable on the forums:

Bug reports are not supposed to be brought here. The tracker exists for a reason.

Have you tried clearing your settings upon reboot before playing the file?

Clearing the settings helped in all cases.  Thanks for the help!
I'll remember the flyspray tracker in the future.
