Super Mario with Album Art for Ipod 5G

I made an album art variant of Dan Manners' Super Mario WPS for the Ipod 5G, I decided to do a bit more work on it. Here's the end results.

Things I added:
Album Art
Next Song Info
Volume level (numeric and pipe image)
A bit of fiddling with the background layout
Clean up of WPS code to add margins, and filename/directory structure if no ID3 tags found
And last but not least a custom font made with the new ROCKbox Font Converter thanks to iwnatanimac

you should´ve done a super mario MORE MUSHROOMS version too!
i think just one half mushroom in the WPS is too few for representing teh mario world.(just joking! great contribuition!)

Nice theme bro! Goes well with my 5G b/c I've got a mario mushroom brushed on the back 

One thing I noticed, though, is that the lines displaying the play status/ repeat mode and the track position

are skewed to the right. So far to the right, in fact, that part of the lines are eclipsed by the pipe volume bar (nice touch, btw)

I tried eliminating the spaces preceding the tags to correct this but that only moved the so far so as  to have the text commence on the first block where mario stands. This wouldn't be a problem except that, b/c of the background color, it's hard to see.
So then I tried aligning the to lines left. Didn't change anything. Could you help me out?
