Error when reading ipod bootpartition

I have a ipod 4G greyscale. When I try to read the bootpartition, it gives me this:

and doesn't move in terminal. bootpartition.bin is creaed but is 0kb. Any ideas?

That looks like a HFS+ formatted ipod.  You need to convert to FAT32 before you can install Rockbox.
