Audioscrobbler Plugin Does Not Log First Track Played

I've noticed that the Audioscrobbler plugin does not log the first track I play. The majority of the music I play I select through the filebrowser. I'm not sure what it does when I use a playlist, or what would happen if I played music via tagcache. I don't use tagcache. :-\. I saw that this was an acknowledged bug, just wondering if there has been any progress on it.

Any progress made should be noted in the Flyspray entry for the bug.  My current workaround is to play a 30 second dummy file while queuing up my daily playlist.

my workaround is starting playing 2nd track and just skip it back to first

I'm trying all time to fix it though
