nls: I think he may be speaking of the UISimulator.DaMen: Â The UISim is used to simulate a particular hardware platform. Â This way you don't have a specific physical platform in order to write and test a WPS or patch or some other code. Â Most users only use it write and test out a WPS that they've created or to edit a WPS someone else has created. With that, you need to have a compile to compile the UISimulator and apply patches. Â I suggest you click the "wiki" link on the left hand side of this page. Â From there you should see a link titled: "DocIndex" Â Once there, you'll see links under "For Developers" that explain how to setup a dev environment. Â You should also see links for "Working with Patches," and the UISimulator. Â I personally use Cygwin. Â It's much slower than some of the others, but I'm on an XP machine so I like being able to double click and the UISim launching. Â You can't do this with a Linux virtual machine. If your head is spinning, just go to the wiki link and read the documentation slowly. Â It will get you started.
Make sure that you have the fonts pack installed and read the SimpleGuideToCompiling wiki page.
