menu help

is there some sort of trick that goes along with hold bringing up the menu, because i select hold to bring up the menu, then slide hold off, but i still can't select different options and it appears to still be on hold. any suggestions?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and ask: did you mean to say that you have an ipod and all this is happening while playing Doom...?

If so, then well.. no. No suggestions. It always worked for me in the past.
