How Full is my iPod?
« on: February 23, 2007, 02:01:48 PM »
Not sure if this is in the right forum or not, so please feel free to move it.  How do i know how full my iPod is?  When i attach the iPod to my computer, it shows up an a removeable device (obviously) and when i hold the cursor over the icon i get no info.  I am running rockbox.

Thanks

I have a 60gb video ipod.

Assuming you're using windows.... open windows explorer, select the iPod drive, and look in the bottom left hand corner of screen it should say (Disk Free Space: xx.xxGB).

Alternatively, right-click the drive and select properties.

It actually worries me that you've managed to install rockbox, but don't know these general computing basics?!?!  ::)

you can also find this out without hooking up your I Pod to your computer.  Rockbox Main Menu> Info>Rockbox Info and then click enter to refresh the info if you believe the information on that screen is wrong.
