Help installing Rockbox along with iPL Loader2 Boot Menu

this is when i try it with the rockbox firmware.

My music in the apple firmware does not work because i removed the /music folder from the hidden iPod_control folder.

this problem has happened to me.

what i did is i downloaded the current build and i extracted it to the root of my ipod. it worked after that for me.

when i plug in my iPod through the usb, it shows the usb in the iPod screen, but it does not load to my computer or to itunes. what happened?  ???

Which version of Rockbox did you install?  An official "current build" or one of the unofficial builds?

You need to force your ipod into disk mode - make sure the hold switch is turned off, then hold MENU+SELECT together for about 5 seconds until your ipod reboots, then immediately press and hold SELECT+PLAY.  Your computer should then see it.
