Resume play on startup
(1/1)
tanawana:
I like the feature to "resume on startup", but . . .
Is there a way to resume but do so "paused" till I actually start the playback?
This allows me to boot up to the "song" or whatever I was last listening to without immediate sound from the speakers.
Thanks
using an iPod 4G if that helps or matters
bascule:
Err, yes. This is the default behaviour...
Don't set 'resume on startup' and, on starting up your iPod, just press 'Play' and you will restart exactly where you left off :)
tanawana:
Odd to me is all, It was restarting back to the original menu - not the actually "song"
I see the way its going now by pressing play - Thanks

Yes, it does. You didn't read what I said.
From the File/Database Browser (it's not a menu) press 'Play' (or the iPod equivalent, probably whatever button toggles play/pause or goes back to the WPS from the browser) and the song you were last listening to resumes from where you left it.
You cannot show the WPS screen while playback is stopped, because it is the 'While Playing Screen'

I read what you said and understood it and said thanks the first time.
