No, it's a feature already present.

--- Quote from: Job Van Dam on February 20, 2007, 04:12:28 PM ---I sort my folders by Music genre:

Music-Sounds/
Electronic-Remixes
Miscellanous
Other
Pop
Rap
Rock
Sets*
Sets Alternate**
Sounds
Video Game

* 42 sets in this folder, these ones actually get put in the playlist. I listen to them and if I like it I keep it and put it in the Sets Alternate folder. If I don't like it I delete it.
** the rest of the sets are here, not in the playlist. There mixed of ones I've heard and liked or ones I haven't heard. I randomly choose one from here to re-populate the Sets folder back to 42.

I have been thinking of merging the two folders considering what Rockbox is capable of.

I hate using music genres as I have a lot of stuff which overlaps or doesn't really have a clear genre but I found throwing all of my music in one bigass directory to be a very bad idea.

riksweeney:
I do

* Artist A - Album A/
* Artist A - Album B/
* Artist B - Album A/
* Artist B - Album B/
* Artist B - Album C/
Mainly just because I can't be arsed to descend through millions of levels just to get to the tracks. But that's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it :P

Spug:
"/music/ARTIST/## - ALBUM/# - ARTIST - SONG NAME.ogg"

I like to have the albums in the chronological order, like soap mentioned (although I don't need to see the year the album was published, so I just use an incrementing number like the song files have).

krx:
somethin like this

!music/_hop/!set *single tracks i like
!music/_hop/artist-album1
!music/_hop/artist-album2

!music/_sad/!set
!music/_sad/artist-album1

etc.

i usually sorted music by mood and not by genre .. sad, action, positive and etc. its seems really convinient to me >
