iPod freezes when music is played (Prefetch Abort)

I am pretty new to rockbox and Im having a major problem trying to figure out why my music in my video iPod 30gb is freezing after a few seconds of playing.

Once I turn on my iPod, rockbox comes on, and then I get a list including:
   -Artist
   -Album
   -Genre
   -Composer
   - Track.....etc....

and when I choose what I want to hear from anything from Artist-->Album-->Track and Album the song runs smoothly without freezing or anything.

But when I click to choose a song from anything besides Artists and Album, like Genre, Composer, Track, etc I get the following:

Prefetch abort at C9F0C672 or Prefetch abort at 43E59022, etc, and even sometimes it just freezes without anything saying.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Hmm, I tried playing all the songs I have under Artist-->Album-->Track and Album now and they also froze. Oh and before it freezes it makes a weird noise in the headphones like ssssshhhhh (static-ish). And the Prefetch abort number always changes now I received Prefetch abort at DDCB6CFE.

What format are the audio tracks you are having problems with in?
Are they music purchased from the iTunes Music Store?

They are all mp3's, none from the iTunes Music Store, just ones I have downloaded myself. I am not sure exactly which audio tracks are causing the problem. But whenever I am playing music at various times I get the "Prefetch Abort #" and it freezes. All of the music I am currently playing in my iPod have id3 tags coming from iPod_control, I haven't added any music manually.

Update to the latest build, and see if you can't find a track which consistently causes failures.
Someone else is welcome to chime in, but unless an alternative theory is proposed I suggest you find a file which is consistently causing problems and email it to me.
