Blinking with scrolling text Help!

In my WPS I'm making, when the text scrolls it causes the volume bar accross from it to blink. Is this possible to fix? Help please, this is my first real try at a WPS! (well exept for a ps3 theme i gave up on)

You're not doing anything wrong - it's jsut that's the way rockbox works... a tad silly i know, but there are some ways around it - the scrolling margins patch would fix this, but you need a custom rockbox buid for it.

Actually... looking at your WPS code... don't you need an " | " at the end of each scrolling margin line? I don't actually know this ('cos i avoid these patches and I can't be bothered to look in to it)...  but it would be my assumption.

Nope. ATM, there is no way around the "blinking," it's just a simple glitch with the patch, hence why it hasn't been commited to daily builds. What the scrolling does essentially to my knowledge is that it just sort of "hides" the text that is scrolling but not being showed in the margins, if that makes sense, and sometimes, it goes over/under a picture, and causes the part of the picture to reload. That's what I've come to understand. Sorry, but either you're gonna write a fix for it, or you'll just have to wait until someone else does.
