Gigabeat F remote
« on: February 17, 2007, 11:15:09 PM »
When rockbox is set so that the first keypress only wakes up the player, this is also true for the remote unit buttons. Could it be possible for the remote unit to function as in the original firmware where the remote unit doesn't wake the gigabeat at all but still performs its functions?

Yes, the current build interprets any first button press as a wake, whether it be from the unit or the remote.
I'm sure it would be possible to change this functionality. I think jlcox wrote the code for the remote, might be worth asking him, or another gigabeat dev.
