I take full responsibility for messing up my nano but I could use help to fix it

Hey,

First, I want to thank everyone who helped develop ROCKbox.  Even though my nano is not functioning at the moment, what you guys have done is pretty remarkable to me.

Anyway, I installed ROCKbox and refused to read the manual through.  I created a folder inside of my Ipod and put a song in it.  I wanted to see what would happen.  I right clicked on the H:/ driver where the Ipod comes up under MY COMPUTER and clicked 'eject'.  I disconnected the nano and a little battery with an exclamation symbol popped up and then disappeared.  

Now I can no longer turn my nano on or get it to show up as a drive under MY COMPUTER.  I even tried plugging it into my Ipod interface between my Pioneer head unit in my car and nothing happens.

What the hell did I do?  Anyone know?

It sounds to me like you have nothing more critical than a very discharged battery.
Plug it in to charge for one hour, if it hasn't booted itself by then, toggle the hold switch to the on (red) position and back again, then hold Menu+Select for up to 30 seconds to try and force a reboot.
If it doesn't work then, plug it into charge for another hour and retry.

Thank you for the reply.

I thought about the battery being dead but before I added the folder into the Ipod the computer would pick up that the Ipod was connected.

I will take your advice and see what happens.  Thanks again!

Same happened to me. Does it charge even if the "do not disconnect" comes on? Whew! for a second there i though rockbox screwed me.
