Cannot load rockbox.ipod: Bad Checksum

As the title says, I've received an error when I try to boot up my iPod 3G.
It reads:
Cannot load rockbox.ipod
Bad checksum
Anyone had trouble with this issue?

Download a fresh copy and re-extract it. That tends to mean that your copy of the file somehow got corrupted.

That sounds about right, I'll try it.
Should I delete the /.rockbox folder and rockbox.ipod off of my iPod first?

As long as you overwrite them, it should be fine, but if you want to that'll work too.
