1st gen nano cmd prompt problem

(1/3) > >>

KillaDilla:
I got it to find my ipod, then typing in the:
ipodpatcher N -R bootpartition.bin
really messed me up. It wouldn't work with a small r, then with a big R it said some weird thing about [DISKNO] and [ACTION] What do i do?

Llorean:
Since we can't read minds it might help to tell us

A) What exactly you typed (if that line is what you typed, you didn't read the instructions very carefully)
B) What exactly the output said.

KillaDilla:
DUH. i got it fixed, on my own

dan_a:
Would you be kind enough to mention what you did, just in case someone else is having the same problem in the future and is searching for a solution?

KillaDilla:
Yeah,  ;) sorry for my imture remark. Instead of putting N, you put the disk number that you learned earlier when you typed in --scan. Now, i have another problem, i have the bootloader on my ipod and it displays a screen on my ipod saying that it cannot locate rockbox.ipod. Heres a pic of my directory: is there something wrong?

Whoa, thats really small. let me fix it.... fixed.
Jeez, apparently i needed to do was this:
ipodpatcher (N) -wf rockbox.ipod
I'm on a roll! Sorry for wasting your time when i answered my own questions!
