problem with video

I have an Ipod video and to play movies I downloaded vlc-transcode.
it works partially, it fixed the audio but the video is still slow and not in the same pace like the sound, what do i do?

1. You put it in the correct forum board
2. You do a forum search for 'VLC' which returns lots of relevant results

not only is it at a very early stage of developement, but you should not be expecting anything close to real-time full-screen decoding on your iPod (if my assumption is correct) Video/5th generation.
