Definitive guide to the status bar icons?

Hello,

is there anywhere that documents the different icons that appear in the status bar? I've searched around without success.

I am using an iPod Video 5.5g with the latest daily build.

I think that they are just hardcoded (i.e., as byte sequences, rather than as a discrete bitmap file) in the source code.

I think he was asking about what the icons meant, not how they were created.

I also can't find anything after a quick look, but I've never needed to; they are either self-explanatory or I've experimented to find out...

I realise that's not much help to the OP  :-\

EDIT: These two source file lists the 'names' of them, but does not differentiate between status bar and browser icons. However, it looks to me like the 7x8 icons relate to status bar

There is a very brief explanation in the manual (see link in the left side menu).

If you look into "4.3. While Playing" section the first item of the list below the introduction will name the icons.
