Will Database ever be able to use the "Auto-Change Directory"?

I miss that function sorely, and it seems with all the songs jumbled about in the iTunes database on the iPod, it can't pull off that stunt quite so easily.

Will Database ever be able to use the "Auto-Change Directory"?
Why?

There are no directories in the Database, so what would you expect to happen at the end of a playlist?

How would you do that? Any song can show up under a variety of categories in the database.

For example Genre->Artist->Album->Track would show a song that's also in just Artist->Track, Genre->Track, the list of songs not yet played, and any number of other categories, maybe songs that have the word 'Frog' in the title, etc.
