Extra (unwanted) audio clips within track < 1 second
« on: February 11, 2007, 06:39:10 PM »
I have only noticed this on a few files, but for a very short time in the somewhere usually at the end of a minute in a song, a breif portion of other unidentified audio is played. This did not happen on the manufacturer firmware, and its the same file. If i play the file on my computer, i will hear a breif silence where the extra audio is played on rockbox. I have not experimented with many other tracks, but it has occured in two for sure (and there are probably many others). I tried transferring the album again, but the same thing happened. Any ideas?

I have a Gigabeat F40, with Ver.  r12221-070207. Should i try the most recent daily build?

Whilst I can't help with your particular problem, you should ALWAYS confirm a problem with the latest current (not daily/archived) build and with a settings reset first.
