Just get "Rockbox boot loader" message

I installed Rockbox with my Mac OSX but when I tried to switch the X5 on I get this message,
Rockbox boot loader
Version 2
Batt: 3.7 V
Loading firmware
Result: -l '
For a second before it switches itself of. After trying to install Rockbox again I tried to uninstall it, no luck, same message, so I reformatted and reinstalled the Cowon firmware but it made no difference, same message and switching off.
Anybody have any ideas or similar experience ?
