Hello,

I did not know where to post so this seemed the most natural place.

I just bought a used 30GB 5th gen iPod a few days ago and was having an awful time using it effectively with Ubuntu Edgy.  Naturally I added iPodLinux which worked eventually but had less than outstanding music playback.  Then I added Rockbox and it is working beautifully.  I really enjoy the simple and effective setup and file structure not to mention .ogg support.  It makes it easy to add music directories by simply mounting my ipod from the terminal and copying.  I have not delved much into the features but Doom is working and I have loaded 1 extra theme.

This all to say thank you this is a fine product which will more than likely become the standard firmware for my iPod.
