When you erased your FAT32 partition, how did you recreate it?  Did you format it as FAT32, or a different FAT size (e.g. FAT16).  The ipod versions of Rockbox only support FAT32.

--- Code: ---mkfs.vfat -F 32 -S 2048 /dev/sdX2

. If bash complains that it didn't found the command try
--- Code: ---mkdosfs -F 32 -S 2048 /dev/sdX2

i figured it out...linux formats the fat32 partition differently...what you have to do is go back into windows and right click on the drive and format as fat 32...put all the rockbox stuff back on and it will work...as well as all your music ::)
