LCD flash during boot on X5

Starting with build 20070113 there is a short annoying LCD
flash on bootup just before the boot logo is displayed
Daily build from 20070112 does not have it.
Any ideas?

If I undo the change in main.c between
revision 11991 and revision 11992
http://svn.rockbox.org/viewvc.cgi/trunk/apps/main.c?r1=11991&r2=11992
which moved the backlight_init() before buffer_init() the flash is gone
