Request for RockDoom

I know the requests go in the feature requests link
I just want to know if this is possible and how it would be done, and I will try it myself.
I want a option in Rockdoom to record demos of gameplay in .lmp format, as is possible by adding the -record demoname.lmp string onto a command in dos.
Ideas?

The code to do this may still be there, in which case you just need to find what is called in the old pRBoom sources when a user does that, find the equivalent code in the Rockbox sources, and add a way to call that code to the launcher/menu part of the plugin.
