"no .rockbox directory" on 5.5g

anyways, whenever i try to boot rockbox i see the splashscreen and then i see "no .rockbox directory" and then "installation incomplete.

i first tried installing rockbox through linux. then i completely earased it through windows and copied the files to the root in windows...please help me...

Why don't you try the official installation instructions, instead?

because i want to be able to boot ipl as well...

The Rockbox bootloader can boot iPL.

But if you follow unofficial instructions, and then they don't work, you should ask the person who gave you the instructions why they aren't working.
